This pendant is my own design. It is based partly on a gold deer ornament found in an ancient grave in Kostromskaya, Russia. The head to head position for a pair of animals is typical of Scythian and Celtic art. If it seems vaguely familiar to you, it may be because this position is common in heraldry. Pin is 2 inches long.
